Julie Klapstein is a recognized leader in the healthcare information technology industry with over 35 years of experience. She was the founding CEO of Availity, an industry leader in automating critical business and clinical information delivery; she served as CEO for 11 years, retiring in 2011.
Her extensive business and health care experience includes executive roles at Phycom Inc., Reveccore, Sunquest Information Systems, and SMS Turnkey Systems. Her early career was spent with AT&T Information Systems.
Currently, she serves on the boards of directors for several companies, including Claritev, Omada Health, Unislink, HCIM, and Aptarro. She is also a Partner Advisor at a16z (Andreessen Horowitz) and is a past director for five public boards. Julie has received multiple industry awards, including the 2021 Healthcare Innovators Award.
